NVIDIA introduces the GeForce GTX590 graphics card, which according to the company is the world’s fastest dual GPU graphics card. “Powered by dual NVIDIA Fermi-class GPUs on a single card, the GTX 590 is designed for uber enthusiasts and those looking to build the ultimate PC gaming rig.”
The GeForce GTX590 features a combined 1024 NVIDIA CUDA architecture cores with 1215 MHz processor clock, 3GB of GDDR5 memory, 6 billion transistors and over 2200 individual components. The 11-inch dual-slot card delivers a 32 tessellation engine that can power DirectX games at 2560×1600 resolution or above. It supports OpenGL, 3D Vision and 3D Vision Surround as well as PhysX, SLI and quad SLI.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX590 offers max digital resolution of 2560×1600 and max VGA resolution of 2048×1536. There are three dual-link DVI-I, a Mini DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4a inputs. The graphics card starts at US$699.
