Sony ICD-SX712D
Sony expands its line of digital voice recorders with three new models, the ICD-SX712D, ICD-UX512 and ICD-PX312. All these recorders have 2GB built-in memory, a microSD/M2 card slot and have USB port for PC connection. They include Intelligent Noise Cut function and the ICD-SX712D and ICD-UX512 feature S-Microphone System for high sensitivity with less noise. PX312 comes with a mono microphone.
Sony ICD-UX512
The top-of-the-line Sony ICD-SX712D supports Manual Rec Level Adjust and cross-memory recording. It also offer calendar search and comes with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 (Recorder Edition). The UX512 has built-in USB connector. Both SX712D and UX512 get backlight LCD display and supports recording in Linear PCM and MP3 format. The ICD-PX312 sports a display and records only in MP3 format.
