Philips Fidelio SoundSphere
Philips announced its new Fidelio SoundSphere docking speaker system that combines its Fidelio and the SoundSphere lines to “bring music lovers the ultimate, full-fidelity listening experience”. The new speaker system supports Apple’s AirPlay that seamlessly play music over a home Wi-Fi network from iTunes on Mac and PC, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, allowing users to enjoy music wirelessly.
The Fidelio SoundSphere system includes a dock and two seperate speakers that have a curved design and unique free-floating tweeters on top to deliver sound in all directions.
Philips is also launching two Fidelio Primo docking speakers, the DS9 and the DS9010. Both o them fit iPod, iPhone and iPad. The DS9 has premium design in natural wood, fabric and metal while the DS9010 comes with anodized brushed aluninum finish. The latter also comes with proximity sensot to activate backlit control panel and a remote control.
