Fujitsu is going to showcase a 22-inch wireless display at the upcoming CeBit 2011. As a truly wireless display, Fujitsu’s new offering uses wireless to provide both the power and the signal for the screen. It is powered by SUPA technology (Smart Universal Power Antenna), drawing power via magneto-induction from transmitter antenna that can be built-in to desks or office panels. It receives picture images via wireless USB from desktop or notebook, with a range of up to 10 meters.
Not many details of the display is provided but it is said that it will get LED-backlit. Fujitsu will announce pricing and availability later.
