If W510 and W530 just do not fit your needs, consider Sony’s other two entry-level offerings, the Cyber-shot DSC-W560 and Cyber-shot DSC-W570, both with 720p HD video recording capabilities. The W560 has a 14.1 Megapixel Super HAD CCD image sensor, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens with 25mm wide 4x Optical Zoom and a 3-inch Clear Photo LCD display; while the W570 packs a 16.1 Megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 5x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display.
Both Cyber-shot cameras supports 1280x720p MP4 HD video recording at 30fps. They feature Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Sweep Panorama, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Anti-blink, Intelligent Auto Mode, ISO up to 3200, Dynamic Range Optimizer Standard and Plus and Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode. There is also in-camera retouching tools such as Trimming, Red-Eye Correction, and Unsharp Masking functions.
The Sony W560 and W570 will be released in March for $159 and in February for $179 respectively. The former comes in blue, silver, red and black, while the latter in silver, pink, violet and black.
