EIZO brings a new IPS LCD display, the 27-inch FlexScan SX2762W, for professionals in graphic design, CAD/CAM, DTP, and digital photography. The 10-bit monitor features wide color gamut reproducing 97% of the Adobe RGB color space, and displays 1.07 billion colors simultaneously from a 16-bit look-up table (LUT). It also gets a new cabinet design and is the first model to come with the new FlexStand 2.
The FlexScan SX2762W features 2560 x 1440 16:9 resolution, 850:1 contrast ratio, 270 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms GTG response time and 178-degree viewing angle. It includes Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) that compensates for fluctuations in brightness and chroma uniformity that are characteristic of LCD panels, and integrated sensor that counteracts the influence that changes in ambient temperature have on the display of color tones.
EIZO’s SX2762W IPS LCD display offers DVI-D, DIsplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort inputs as well as a 2-port USB 2.0 hub. It also offers simulation of two types of red-green (protanopia and deuteranopia) and one type of blue-yellow (tritanopia) color blindness. This allows designers to ensure their color schemes can be recognized by people with all types of color vision. EIZO is going to release the monitor as FlexScan SX2762W-HX in Japan for 124,800 Yen.
