Along with the 3D-ready HDC-SD90 and HDC-TM90, Panasonic brings five more Full HD camcorder models, HDC-SD40, HDC-TM40, HDC-HS80, HDC-TM80, HDC-SD80. All of them are equipped with 1.5 Megapixel 1MOS image sensor for recording 1080/60p Full HD video, and 33.7mm wide angle lens.
Panasonic HDC-HS80
The ultra lightweight and affordable HDC-SD40/HDC-TM40 features 16.8x optical zoom and the iA (Intelligent Auti) Mode with POWER O.I.S., while the HDC-HS80, HDC-TM80, HDC-SD80 have a 34x optical zoom lens with 42x Intelligent zoom and HYBRID O.I.S. for blur-free zooming. The HS80/TM80/SD80 also pack the Crystal Engine PRO, which includes the Intelligent Resolution Technology, to further enhances Full-HD quality. These three models also feature new zoom mic and wind noise canceller.
Panasonic HDC-TM80
As Panasonic’s lightest Full HD camcorders, the SD40 and TM40 weighs just 169g. They are also power-saving, consuming only 2.5 W power, allowing you to shoot continuously for approximately 135 minutes with a single battery charge. All five camcorders offer Scene modes, Soft Skin mode, still image recording and tele-macro function for shooting clear close up images.
Storage makes the difference between models. All models support SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards, with TM40 and TM80 have 16GB internal memory and HS80 with 120GB hard drive.
