Sony is going to release the new Cyber-shot DSC-TX100V, the first compact digital camera with Full HD 1920×1080/60p video recording. The TX100V is also one of the first compact DC to include 3D Still Image mode for taking 3D images using only one lens and image sensor.
Sony’s DSC-TX100V features a 16.2 Megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R COS image sensor Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens with 25mm equivalent wide 4x optical zoom, and a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen. It offers 3D still image capturing and 3D Sweep Panorama. Other features and functions include Face Detection, Motion Detection, Anti-blink, Smile Shutter, Anti Motion Blue, Sweep Multi Angle, High speed shooting at up to 10 frames per second, Superior Auto mode, Backlight Correction and Soft Skin mode.
The Cyber-shot DSC-TX100V offers HDMI output and comes with support for TransferJet technology. It is now available for $379.99, in red, black and silver.
