Huawei is going to announce its IDEOS X5 Andriod smartphone on 6 January at the CES 2011, and the phone will be released in Hong Kong on 13 January with a price tag of HK$3000 (US$386).
The Huawei X5 is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7230 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.2 OS. it features a 3.8-inch 800×480 capacitor touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and a front 0.3 Megapixel camera for video calling. The new IDEOS has 4GB internal storage. WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS are also included.
