Matrox has just introduced its new Mac-friendly DualHead2Go DP (model D2G-DP-MIF) and TripleHead2Go DP (model T2G-DP-MIF) external multi-monitor adapters. Both of them come with a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, allowing Mac users to connect these external multi-monitor modules directly to the mini-DisplayPort output of their Mac computers to swiftly drive multiple monitors or projectors.
The TripleHead2Go DP supports a maximum resolution of 5760×1080 (3x 1920×1080) across three monitors or 3840×1200 (2x 1920×1200) across two monitors, while the DualHead2Go DP also can handle 3840×1200 (2x 1920×1200) max resolution. They provides a DisplayPort input and 2/3 DIsplayPort outputs. These Graphics eXpansion Modules (GXMs) also works with Windows OS.
The DualHead2Go DP and TripleHead2Go DP are available for $239 and $329 respectively.
