blueSLR introduces a Bluetooth hardware accessory and an application that allow you to remote control your digital SLR cameras using iOS devices including iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It lets you to take photos from up to 300 feet away. The tiny device will also record and embed precise location, including latitude, longitude, and elevation, as well as speed and direction right in the photo metadata, within photos you take.

The blueSLR attaches directly to DSLR and connects to iOS device via Bluetooth wireless technology. Currently the blueSLR adapter is available for Nikon digital SLR cameras and Canon model will come later. Currently, there are a model for Nikon Essential DSLRs such as D3100,D5000, a model for Nikon Advanced DSLR including D90 and D7000, and one for Nikon Professional DSLR such as D3(S), D200, D300(S), D700. All versions cost $149.
