Other World Computing (OWC) introduces its Mercury Rack Pro storage solutions designed for demanding professional environment. Two models are available, one with eSATA Port-Multiplier interface and the other with quad-interfaces (FW800/400+USB2+eSATA). Both of them come in a space saving 1U rackmount enclosure.
The Mercury Rack Pro has room for four SATAI/II hard drives supporting up to 12TB capacity. The eSATA Port-Multiplier model is RAID-ready and supports JBOD, while the quad-interface model is preconfigured as RAID 5 and offers a rear panel selectable SPAN, 0, 1, 5, 10 Hardware RAID settings.
