ViewSonic launches its DPF8-CAM Digital Photo Copier, a device that lets users transform their printed photos into digital format, in just a simple click. The DPF8-CAM has a 5 Megapixel camera on the back. Simply place an old photo on the stand attached to the frame, and in one easy click, focus and convert the old print into a digital format. You can then adjust or crop the image.
The ViewSonic DPF8-CAM has a 8-inch 800×600 LCD display with 500:1 contrast and 250cd/m2 brightness. Of course, you can use the device as a digital photo frame as well. It has 128MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC, MMC, MS and USB storage devices. There are also calendar, clock and alarm features.
