Maingear launches the new Alt-15 and Alt17 high performance notebooks with NVIDIA’s Optimis grapics technology. The 15.6-inch Alt-15 and 17-inch Alt-17 are powered by Intel’s Core i5 or i7 processors and up to 8GB of DDR3 memory. They both get NVVIDIA Geforce GT425M graphics card with 1GB GDDR3 Memory and Optimus Technology for optimized performance and best battery efficiency.
The Alt-15 and Alt-17 can be equipped with up to 512GB Solid State Drive or 500GB Hybrid SSDs, or up to 750GB 2.5-inch 5400RPM SATA hard drive; and either DVD SuperMulti burner or Bu-ray/DVD combo drive. You can expect 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, fingerprint reader, HDMI output, USB 3.0 connector, eSATA connector and built-in 2 Megapixel webcam.
