TRENDnet announced two new USB 3.0 external hard drive enclosures, the 3.5-inch TU3-S35 and the 2.5-inch TU3-S25, both support SuperSpeed USB 3.0 5Gbps speed, which is 10 times faster the USB 2.0. These USB 3.0 enclosures supports SATA I and SATA II hard drives with over 1TB storage capacities. The TU3-S35 also comes with a mounting stand.
The TU3-S35 and TU3-S25 are backward compatible with USB 2.0 as well. For computers with USB 3.0 ports, TRENDnet offers TU3-H2EC 2-Port USB 3.0 ExpressCard Adapter and TU3-H2PIE 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI Express Adapter for users to add USB 3.0 connectors.
The TRENDnet TU3-S35 and TU3-S25 are priced at $79.99 and $59.99 respectively.
