OWC launches two DIY Hard Drive kits offering laptop users an easy way to upgrade the hard drive. OWC’s DIY kit includes a 2.5-inch hard drive up to 1TB, 5400RPM or 7200RPM; an OWC external hard drive enclosure for you to “re-use” your old drive, a 5-piece toolkit with all the tools needed to complete the DIY project as well as cables needed.
Starting at $57.99 is the kit with OWC’s Express enclosure. This kit is available in 250GB to 1TB. The other kit gets an OWC On-The-Go Pro HDD enclosure that offers up to three connection interfaces (FireWire 400/800, USB 2.0). Available in 320GB to 1TB, this kit starts at $81.99.
