
Buffalo BRXL-6U2 BDXL burner
Buffalo launches two new BDXL burners, the external BRXL-6U2 with USB 2.0 interface and the internal BRXL-6FBS-BK using SATA interface. Both of them are based on and identical to Pioneer’s newly announced BDR-206MBK, except the brand name.

Buffalo BRXL-6FBS-BK External BDXL Burner
The BRXL-6U2 and BRXL-6FBS-BK both read and write ordinary single layer and double layer Blu-ray discs and the new triple layer (TL 100GB) and quad layer (QL 125GB) BDXL formats. They can burn BD-R XL QL and TL at up to 4x, BD-R/BD-R DL at 6x and BD-RE SL/DL/TL at 2x. They can also write DVD-RAM at 5x, DVD+/-R at 8x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-R at 6x and CD-R/RW at 24x.
