Seals Technologies, an UK company, introduces the VR7, a rugged mobile phone for all-weather outdoor use. The MIL-STD-810G-certified and IP67-rated phone is dustproof, waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minuts. It can withstand 2 meter drops on concrete and is able to work in environment from -20C to +55C.
The VR7 has a 2-inch color display, 2 Megapixel waterproof camera, 1GB internal storage, FM raio, Bluetooth 2.0 and support for tri0band GMS/GPRS/EDGE networks. The phone also supports GPS navigation with its built-in GPS chip. It has USB 2.0 port and stereo headphone jack.
