Epson announced the new Stylus Pro 4900 17-inch printer that combines the precision of Epson’s MicroPiezo TFP print head with the performance of Epson UltraChrome HDR ink, which covers 98 percent of the PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE solid color palette, to deliver high quality prints.
Designed for professional, the 4900 also features the AccuPhoto HDR Screening algorithm to produce extremely fine blends and photographic transitions with accurate highlight-to-shadow details.
The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Standard Edition and Graphic Design Edition will be available in December 2010 for $2,495 and $2,995 respectively.
