Cherrypal announced its new sub-$200 tablet device, the CherryPad America. Powered by a Samsung ARM11 800MHz processor ((CPU + GPU + DSP, OpenGL 2.0), the new CherryPad is a 7-inch tablet running Android 2.1 OS. It has 256MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB NAND flash memory and a microSD card slot.
The CherryPad America comes with a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen with built-in gravity senso and supports WiFi connectivity. It offers USB port, 3.5mm jack, built-in speakers and microphone. It gets a Polymer 3200 MAH battery for a run time of 6-8 hours. This Android CherryPad is priced at $188.
