Acer announced two new models in its Aspire AS8943G line, the AS8943G-9319 and AS8943G-9429. Both of them are equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 graphics card with 2GB of dedicated video memory. They have a 18.4-inch Full HD 1080p LED-backlit LCD display.
Acer’s AS8943G-9319 and AS8943G-9429 sports an Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core processor, Mobile Intel HM55 Express Chipset, 500GB hard drive, and a 4X Blu-ray Disc/DVD-SuperMulti combo drive. The former gets 4GB of RAM while the latter has 8GB. Other features include WiFi, 1.3 Megapixel HD webcam, multi-in-one card reader, Dolby-optimized Acer CineSurround sound system with five built-in speakers, fingerprint reader, multi-gesture touchpad and 8-cell battery.
The Acer Aspire AS8943G-9319 is now available for $1499.99 and the AS8943G-9429 for $1599.99.
