Alongside the new AS5745DG 3D notebook, Acer also brings the newly updated Aspire AS5742G, AS5745 and AS7745 notebooks. The 5742G is housed in textured mesh black covers, while the Aspire AS5745 and AS7745 notebook lines come in a thin-and-light industrial design with a glossy black cover.
The Aspire AS5742G features NVIDIA’s Optimus technology, a hybrid graphics engine that will switch between dedicated graphics or onboard graphics for optimized performance. Both AS5742G and AS5745 are powered by latest Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors and comes with up to a 500GB hard drive. They have a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit LCD display. The 17.3-inch Aspire AS7745 sports Core i7 quad-core processors, 8GB of RAM (max 16GB), ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 graphics card and a 600GB hard drive.
