Nikon introduces the new CoolPix S80 touchscreen digital camera that gets a stylish and “fashion-forward” design, replacing the S70. The new S80 comes with a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen display for touch control, featuring tab-type graphics to maximize screen space without cluttering it with icons.
The 14.1 Megapixel CoolPix S80 camera comes with a 5x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens and the Nikon EXPEED C2 image processor. It sports 5-Way vibration reduction (VR) Image Stabilization System, including Optical and Hybrid VR, Motion Detection, ISO settings up to 6400 and Best Shot Selector, to reduce camera shake; in-camera editing function, Smart Portrait System with Face-Priority AF and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix; and Easy Auto Mode. The compact camera can record 720p HD video recording with optical zoom and stereo sound and offers HDMI output.
The Nikon CoolPix S80 will be available in fall 2010 for $329.95, in red, black, blue, pink, gold and silver/brown colors.
