A company called QuickPay is launching the ROAMpay credit card swiper that works with most smartphones, including iPhone, Blackberry and Androd-based devices, even iPad. The ROAMpay device and solution allow merchants to process credit card payments wirelessly using smartphones.
The ROAMpay system accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express and does real-time authorization and offers email receipts to customers. It can also log cash orders for reporting and receipts.
