Onkyo announced the new BD-SP808 Blu-ray player that offers Blockbuster On Demand movie streaming service. The BLOCKBUSTER On Demand service allows customers to browse and select certain movies as soon as the titles are available on DVD and Blu-ray without having to pay a monthly subscription fee.
The Onkyo BD-SP808 supports Blu-ray Disc playback and features High Quality Video Scaler, and support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio digital sound. It is THX and DLNA 1.5 Certified and supports Profile 2.0 BD-Live. The player also offers a SD card slot for direct media playback.
