Berkeley Varitronics Systems offers this Wolfhound cellphone detector, a handheld, wireless sniffer that allows security personnel to locate all nearby cell phones in either standby mode or actively using voice, text (SMS) or data transmissions.
The detector is available in US and Euro models supporting PCS (1850-1910 MHz), CDMA (824-849 MHz), GSM (896-901 MHz), and WCDMA / UMTS (1920-1980 MHz), GSM 1800 (1710.2-1784.8 MHz), EGSM 900 (880-915 MHz) RF bands. It’s high speed scanning receiver utilizes a multi-band DF (Direction Finding) antenna system.
