Sanyo introduces a new pocket-sized dual camera, the VPC-PD2BK that is capable of Full HD 1920x1080p video recording at 30fps and 10 Megapixel still shooting. The new Xacti has a portrait, compact, candy-bar type form factor, just like Kodak PlayTouch, Samsung E10 and Panasonic TA1.
The Xacti VPC-PD2BK features 3x optical zoom, stereo sound recording, Speed Sequential Shooting Mode, built-in flash, two microphones on the sides, and embedded software for easy use and sharing on social networks. The camcorder offers USB port for PC connection and charging and mini HDMI port. It supports SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
The Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK pocket Full HD camcorder will be released in September for $169.99.
