Kodak launches the EasyShare M590 that is claimed to be the world’s thinnest 5x optical zoom digital camera. The 14 Megapixel M590 sports a 5x optical zoom SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON lens, a 2.7-inch LCD with Kodak Color Science Technology, 64MB internal memory and a microSD/SDHC memory card slot. The M590 records 1280x720p HD video at 30fps in H.263 format.
The new EasyShare camera includes image stabilization, face detection, face recognition, ISO sensitivity up to 6400, and the Smart Capture feature that includes Intelligent scene detection, Intelligent capture control and Intelligent image processing.
The Kodak EasyShare M590 is available for $199.95 and comes in silver, red, purple and blue.
