NEC announced the new MultiSync X462UN, a 46-inch ultra-narrow LCD display designed for video wall configurations in professional digital signage environments, such as public venues, retail stores, transportation facilities.
The MultiSync X462UN features ultra-narrow bezel, which allows for a screen-to-screen distance between two neighboring X462UN displays of only 7.3 millimeters. It features the new EdgeComp technology that improves brightness uniformity for a steadier image across the entire video wall. The display has 1366×768 native resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness. It offers DisplayPort, HDMI ,DVI-D digital inputs, Ethernet port, expansion slot, and RS-232 connector.
Intended for video wall application, the X462UN supports TileMatrix (up to 10×10), TileComp, copy function, and individual or group ID functions. It will be available in September for $4,699.
