ioSafe introduces the new SoloPRO, the business-class edition of the Solo external hard drives. Like other Solo products, the new SoloPRO has a rugged disaster proof design that is Fireproof up to 1550-degree F for 1/2 hour per ASTM E119 and waterproof up to 10ft for 72 hours. The drive also includes the FloSafe active airflow cooling technology providing cooling airflow through the enclosure and across the disk drives during normal operating conditions.
The ioSafe SoloPRO is available in USB 3.0 or eSATA/USB 2.0 version offering over 100MB/s transfer speed and comes in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities. The SoloPRO external hard drive supports Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
ioSafe SoloPRO will be released on 1 September. The price is $249.99 for 1TB model, $319.99 for the 1.5 TB and $419.99 for the 2 TB.
