Logitech announced its Alert series HD digital video security systems, including the Alert 750i Master System and the weatherproof Alert 750e Outdoor Master System with night vision. These complete digital video security systems let you keep an eye on what matters most, whether it’’s looking in on the house while traveling, checking in on the baby while you’re at work, or monitoring your second home.
Logitech Alert 750i Master System
Logitech’s Alert system uses HomePlug AV networking meaning no wires are needed. Both systems come with 720p HD smart video camera with a 130-degree wide angle lens and built-in DVR. Recording will start automatically when motion is detected and videos are saved directly to microSD card, eliminating the need for your PC to be always on.
Logitech Alert 750e Master System
These Alert Master security systems includes free remote viewing of live video through a browser on a secure site from any Internet-connected computer or through Logitech’s free smartphone applications for iPhone, Blackberry and Android. The premium Logitech Alert Web and Mobile Commander service is also available for those who want more control on the go.
For expansion Logitech also release the Alert 700i Add-On Camera and Alert 700e Outdoor Add-On Camera. Like the Alert 750e system, the 700e camera are IP55 (International Protection Rating) certified and offer powerful HD night-vision, allowing you to monitor in complete darkness regardless of weather conditions.
Logitech Alert 750i Master System
The Logitech Alert 750i Master System and the Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System will be offered for $299.99 and $349.99, respectively while the Logitech Alert 700i Add-On Camera and the Logitech Alert 700e Outdoor Add-On Camera will be available for $229.99 and $279.99, respectively. The premium Logitech Alert Web and Mobile Commander service costs $79.99 per year.
