Sanyo introduces a new Xacti Dual Camera, the VPC-CA102YL waterproof Full HD camcorder for active lifestyle and for any indoor or outdoor adventure. This Xacti is basically the US version of the DMX-CA100. It comes in yellow color and is small enough to be carried in a pocket, backpack, or purse, ready to be used at any time and in any weather condition.
The VPC-CA102YL features a 14.4 Megapixel CMOS sensor for capturing 1080p Full HD video (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format) and 14 Megapixel still images, and a 5x optical zoom lens with double-range zoom up to 12x, and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The compact waterproof camcorder has a vertical form factor and is waterproof up to 10 feet depth. It includes “Face Chaser” and “Target a Color” functions and the High-Speed Sequential Shooting mode that enables capturing up to 22 photos at 7 frames per second.
Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102YL is compatible with SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards as well as Eye-Fi SD cards. Mini HDMI output is provided. This stylish yellow camcorder will be released on 20 August and is available for $349.00.
