NVIDIA officially announced its newest Fermi-class GPU, the GeForce GTX 460 graphics processor with up to 4x the DirectX 11 tessellation performance over competing GPUs. The new GTX 460 fully support NVIDIA 3D Vision as well as PhysX, SLI 2-way, PureVideo HD, and CUDA technologies.
The GeForce GTX 460 has a graphics clock speed of 675MHz, a processor clock speed of 350MHz, 37.8 billion/s texture fill rate. It can be equipped with 768MB or 1GB GDDR5 memory. The new dual-slot GPU uses PCI-E 2.0 x16 interface and supports up to 2560×1600 digital resolution via two Dual Link DVI and HDMI output.
