Cowon launches the new V5W portable media player with WiFi, an update to the original V5. The V5W has built-in WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity and comes with internet browser. Like the V5, the new V5W features a 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen display and offers HDMI output.
Cowon’s new player is capable of Full HD 1080p video playback and supports most media formats including DivX, XviD, H.264 MPEG4 AVCHD, WMV, MKV, 3GP video; MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC audio and JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, RAW images. The V5W can also open PPT, DOC, XLS, PDF document files.
Cowon V5W has 16GB or 32GB or 64B internal storage and supports SD/SDHC memory card. It runs Windows CE 6.0.
