MSI officially announced its Wind U160DX thin and light netbook with up to ultra long 15 hours of battery life. As the update to the U160, the U160DX replaces the Atom N450 with the new Intel Atom N455 processor. It boasts up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 160GB hard drive and integrated GMA 3150 graphics chip.
MSI’s new Wind includes its own TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) technology for boosting processing performance and the ECO Engine power saving technology for longer battery life. The U160DX gets a 10-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit display and supports Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. Other features include optional 3.5G connectivity, 2-in-1 card reader, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, stereo speaker and D-sub output.
