Epson announced the DC-11 document camera designed to help K-12 classrooms promote a dynamic learning environment. With DC-11, teachers can display textbook, experiments and 3D objects easily. It also allows other engaging interactive lessons.

The Epson DC-11 features a 5 Megapixel sensor, 10x digital zoom, 30 frames-per-second video at full resolution and a large capture area that is enough for up to two full pages. It is also equipped with built-in microphone and includes software that allows teachers to capture classroom lessons and student presentations easily. The DC-11 has 1GB internal storage for storing images. It has VGA, composite output, built-in SD card slot and USB port for connecting PC/Mac.

Epson DC-11 is also capable of automatically detecting the native aspect ratio of Epson projectors and selects the output resolution to match. It will be available in late September for $499.
