NEC announced at the InfoComm 2010 a new member of the V-series, the 46-inch V461 commercial LCD display that is ideal for retail and restaurant markets, as well as indoor venues, training facilities and corporate boardrooms.
The V461 features public-display-grade panel, which offers additional protection against image retention and advanced cooling fan-based technology. It offers 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 450cd/m2 brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and support for both landscape and portrait orientation. Companies can build video walls of up to 25 V461 displays in a 5×5 configuration using TileMatrix.
The NEC V461 includes HDMI, DVI-D, 5 BNC (RGBHV, DVD/HD or composite video), 15-pin D-sub in/out, S-Video and composite video in/out connectors. It will be available soon for $1199.
