Iomega announced the new eGo Charcoal portable hard drive that uses SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The drive has 500GB storage capacity and comes with Iomega Protection Suite software to protect your data.
The USB 3.0 Iomega eGo is rugged and includes the Drop Guard feature to protect the drive from 51-inch drop. The USB 3.0 eGo portable hard drive is priced at $129.99.
Iomega also introduces the USB 2.0 Compact Edition eGo portable hard drive that comes in Ruby Red, Midnight Blue and Silver enclosures. It is available in 320GB, 500GB and 1TB capacities.
