HP launches new ProBook models of business notebooks, the AMD-powered ProBook 6455b/6555b series and Intel Core series-based ProBook 6450b/6550b. The 6455b/6555b are boosted by newest AMD multicore processors such as AMD Phenom II while the 6450b/6550b can be equipped with choices of Intel Core i7, i5, i3 CPUs.
You can expect UMA graphics for AMD models and Intel HD graphics for Intel models. Optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD540v graphics card are available for both of them. The 6450b and 6455b comes with a 14-inch display and the 6555b and 6550b comes with a 15.6-inch screen. All four notebooks can get the optional HP Mobile Broadband module and 12-cell ultra-capacity battery.
The HP ProBook 6455b/6555b and ProBook 6450b/6550b will be released in June starting at $770 and $859 respectively.
