Sony will launch in Japan the 9-inch DVP-FX950 portable DVD player. The FX950 supports playback of DVD Video, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD+/-R DL, VCD, Audio CD and 8cm discs.
The Sony DVP-FX950 comes with a 9-inch 800×480 swivel and tilt screen. It can also play JPEG image and MP3 audio files from disc and USB memory drive. Though not yet released in Japan, the FX950 is now available for $140.97.
