Teclast releases in China the K5 color e-book reading device. According the Teclast, the K5 comes with a 5-inch 480×800 screen based on c-Paper color display panel, which I believe is a kind of LCD.
Other than opening TXT, Word, PDF, PDB, EPub, FB2, HTM and SKT files, the Teclast K5 can also handle media playback supporting MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE, AAC audio file and RMVB/RM, AVI, MP4, VOB, FLV, MPG video files. It can also view JPEG and BMP images. You can find a SD card slot for expansion and USB 2.0 port. The Teclast K5 4GB model is available in China for 699 Chinese Yuan ($103).
