After years of development, Epson finally announced the launch of the SurePress L-4033A, a short-run digital label press designed to print labels efficiently and profitably. The L-4033A is based on Epson’s MicroPiezo inkjet technology and features 720x720dpi resolution on paper and 1440x720dpi on film.
The SurePress L-4033A utilizes the new water-based, pigment ink system offering six ink colors. The Epson digital label press prints on a range of off-the-shelf papers and film up to 330mm wide and at speeds up to 5m/min and fits easily into existing digital workflows. It includes gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
