Gateway, part of Acer Group, updates its NV family of entertainment notebooks, which includes the 15.6-inch NV5 series and the 17.3-inch NV7 series. The updated NV line is equipped with choice of Intel Core i3/i5 or AMD Athlon/Turion processors, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 640GB hard drive.
The first model of the new NV series is the NV59C09u that boasts Core i3-330M 2.13GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, Intel GMA HD graphics, 320GB hard drive, 4x Blu-ray/DVD burner and combo drive. WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, multi-in-one card reader, HD webcam, numeric pad, multi-gesture touchpad, stereo speaker and HDMI port can all be found. Also included is a 6-cell battery offering up to 4.5 hours of use.
The Gateway NV59C09u is priced at $799.99.
