ioSafe introduces another ultra rugged disaster protected hard drive, the Squadron that is fireproof to 1400-degree F for 15 minutes and waterproof to 5 feet of fresh water or salt water for 24 hours. It has a reflective heat shield that deflects over 98 percent of the radiant heat from a fire, further protecting critical data.
The ioSafe Squadron is available in 80GB, 200GB and 320GB. It is based on 7200RPM hard drive and has 8MB buffer memory. It uses SATA II interface.
