Buffalo announced in Japan a new lightweight portable DVD burner, DVSM-PS58U2/S-BK with a slot-loading design and weighs just 340g. The write uses USB 2.0 interface and supports DVD+/-R at up to 8X, DVD+/-R DL at 6X, DVD+/-RW at 6X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD-R/RW at 24X.
Buffalo DVSM-PS58U2/S-BK comes with CyberLink software suite for DVD playback and disc burning. It will be available in May for 11,500 Yen.
