Dell introduces the Latitude E6410 ATG, a semi-rugged laptop PC based on the standard Latitude E6410. This ATG version is built and tested to meet the MIL STD 810F for shock, vibration, temperature, humidity and altitude, increasing productivity regardless of location or terrain.
The Latitude E6410 ATG is powered by choices of Intel Core i5 or i7 processor (up to i7-620M 2.66GHz), up to 8GB DDR3 memory and onboard Intel HD graphics. It has up to a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive and either a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive. It has a 14.1-inch 1280×800 outdoor viewable display. As for connectivity, the E6410 ATG supports Ethernet LAN, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, optional Bluetooth 3.0. For those who need mobile broadband access, they can add either the Dell Wireless 5620 (EVDO+HSPA+AGPS) or Dell Wireless 5540 (HSPA+AGPS) Mobile Broadband Mini Card.
Also included is the Dell ControlVault for secure authentication and data protection, including fingerprint scanner, built-in contactless card reader, and embedded one-time-password token capability. The Latitude E6410 ATG starts at $1,779.
