With the success of the E71 and E72, Nokia adds to the Eseries the E5-00 business smartphone. The bar-type device, like most Eseries phones, gets a full QWERTY keyboard. It boasts a 2.4-inch 320×240 LCD display, a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, integrated A-GPS with Ovi Maps and WiFi connectivity.
The Nokia E5, as a business phone, includes some business grade security and device management functions, such as device lock, remote locking with SMS, device and memory card encrytion, mobile VPN client, and OMA DM client. It runs Symbian S60 3rd Edition OS.
The E5 has 250MB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. WCDMA/HSDPA 3.5 and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks are supported. Nokia E5 comes in Carbon Black, Chalk White, Sky Blue, Copper Brown and Silver Gray colors options and will be available in Q3 for Euro 180.
