Other than the LD950 passive 3D HDTVs, LG brings also the LX9900 and LX6900 series LED-backlit 3D HDTVs based on active shutter 3D technology. These ultra slim 3DTVs both come with integrated FreeView HD TV tuner, Intelligent Sensor and built-in invisible 10Wx2 speakers.
Featuring Full LED backlight, the LX9900 is available in 55-inch (55LX9900) and 47-inch (47LX9900) screen sizes with 960 LED lights and 864 LED lights respectively. It sports TruMotion 400Hz, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Bluetooth connectivity and HDMI 1.4. The LX9900 has LG’s Infinia Design and 1cm frame.
On the other hand, the LX6900 gets Edge LED-backlight, 8,000,000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio, 200Hz TruMotion. It is just 2.93cm thick.
Both LX9900 and LX6900 supports NetCast services, Wireless AV Link,DLNA and Eco Folwer. The former comes with two pairs of Active glasses while the latter gets only one pair.
