Asus announced two new graphics cards, the ENGTX480/2DI/1536MD5 and ENGTX470/2DI/1280MD5 based on NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 480 and GTX470 respectively.
The ENGTX480 comes with 1536MB GDDR5 video memory and has 700MHz engine clock speed and 3696MHz memory clock speed while the ENGTX470 gets 1280MB video RAM and runs a 607MHz engine clock and 3348MHz memory clock. They both support up to 2560×1600 resolution for DVI and 2048×1536 for D-Sub.There are two dual-link DVI-I ports and one HDMI output. Both cards use PCI Express 2.0 bus.
