Pioneer announced three new 7.1-channel AV receivers, the VSX-920-K, VSX-1020-K and VSX-1120-K, all “Works with iPhone”. With the iControlAV app, users can turn their iPhone or iPod touch into a fully functioning remote control for the VSX-1020-K and VSX-1120-K, and the VSX-920-K and VSX-1020-K has front panel iPhone control buttons.
Pioneer’s VSX-920-K, VSX-1020-K and VSX-1120-K are all 3D capable and feature Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming, Dolby ProLogic IIz Decoding and HDMI 1.4 output. The VSX-1020-K and VSX-1120-K feature also Sound Retriever AIR for enhanced Bluetooth audio quality, support for Internet radio, Advanced MCACC room calibration and sound tuning technology and Precision Quartz Locking System (PQLS). The flagship VSX-1120-K is also THX Select2 Plus certified.
The VSX-920-K, VSX-1020-K will be available in May 2010 and the flagship VSX-1120-K will be available in June 2010. There is also the entry-level VSX-820-K.
